Jon Sundack
CEO Partner
I’m the firm's owner and all-round everything guy. Originally starting out alongside my father, I was drawn to the interaction with clients and the changes we could make to their lives. Yes, I make sure they’re compliant, but more importantly I’m their sounding board. I help them map out what they really want to achieve and the way to get there. When I’m not at work, I’m spending meaningful time with my family or outside playing golf.
Jarett Sundack

I love how my work actually impacts my clients’ lives. I’m big on authentic conversation, building long term relationships and being as efficient as possible. Out of work, I’m really into hockey and time with my family. Oh, and I proudly hold the title of “third worst golfer” in my friend group.
Steven Sundack

I’m the firm’s original founder, establishing Sundack back in 1979, and I’m very proud of the company as it stands today. I manage a number of our clients, giving them strategic financial advice as well as overseeing their accounts. I’ve been an accountant all my life, I still love what I do, and it’s largely down to the people I work with, team and clients alike. When I’m not at work, I’m out socializing with friends or taking the time out to properly recharge (it’s important!). I’m happy to say I have a great work/life balance, and I think our team does too.
Amanda Hess
Administrative assistant
I’m the main liaison between our clients and the accountants. There’s a lot I love about my role but I particularly like the type of clients we choose to work with. They’re kind, easy to talk to and really passionate about what they do. It’s inspiring and I get to develop a real connection with them. When I’m not at work, I’m planning my next vacation, booking tickets to another concert or hitting the beach. But, by far, my favorite thing to do is to spend time with my nieces and nephews.

I’m the go-to tax guy. Forever in the business mindset, I consider myself a partner to our clients, always looking at ways to save money and help them reach their financial goals. I love the variety of clients we serve and also the Sundack team in general, they’re committed, personable and motivated. When I’m not digging into tax stuff, I’m with my lovely wife and daughter, working out or tinkering on something around the house.
Melissa Pepitone
Staff accountant
My job is to make sure that our clients' finances are in good standing. I’m hyper organized, into detail and particularly enjoy finding solutions to difficult roadblocks. I really like how the Sundack team has a genuine, open relationship with our clients. They feel safe to ask us anything, which is half the battle as an accountant. When I’m not at work I’m traveling to places steeped in history, hanging out with my husband or getting into nature with my dog.

I’m the go-to person for anything related to your company finances. Think payroll, reconciling and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. I love my job for many reasons but I particularly enjoy organizing and presenting financial data to clients because I know that knowledge will tangibly improve their business. I’m a big people person and I love the Sundack team and our clients equally; I think you’ve got to be as good with people as you are with numbers in this career! Out of work you’d probably find me singing around the home, sipping lemon ginger tea or hanging out with my family.
